Featured sponsorships are advertising: your business appears on field signage, jerseys, the Snack Shack, or our website. Community Supporter levels are recognition: a public thank-you on our sponsor webpage and social media, without a physical or premium placement.

Sponsorships help WVFP maintain and replace equipment, keep registration accessible, build toward a future player scholarship program, improve fields and training resources, support tournaments and events, and invest in the league's long-term growth.

Field banners run for the sponsorship year, covering the Spring and Fall seasons. Jersey and Snack Shack sponsorships cover the season you choose. Website sponsorships run 12 months from activation, and a Digital Feature is one scheduled campaign. Community Supporter recognition runs for one sponsorship year. Your written confirmation spells out exact dates.

Yes. Standard artwork, production, installation, and removal are included in featured sponsorship pricing. Just send your logo and details within 10 business days of acceptance. Nonstandard sizes, replacements, or major creative changes are handled separately.

Absolutely. Sponsorships are independent, so you can combine them — for example, a Dedicated Field Banner ($750) plus Silver Community Supporter ($500) is a $1,250 partnership. Overlapping recognition is combined into one better thank-you rather than repeated.

Yes — we welcome equipment, food, printing, apparel, construction services, photography, and more. Recognition is based on the documented fair market value of goods or services WVFP can use, agreed in advance. In-kind gifts don't automatically include jersey, Snack Shack, or website placements.

Sponsorships and donations may qualify for a tax deduction, but the treatment depends on the nature of your payment and the benefits you receive, so we can't guarantee deductibility. It depends on what you receive in return. A Community Supporter donation, where your business is thanked by name or logo, may qualify as a charitable contribution. A featured sponsorship that promotes your business — like a field banner, jersey logo, or website placement — may instead qualify as a business advertising or marketing expense. Your tax advisor can tell you which applies to you.

Yes. Once payment is received, we'll send a written acknowledgment showing the amount, the date, and a description of any recognition or benefits you received in return — the details your tax advisor will ask for.

Sponsorships and donations paid by December 31 may count toward that tax year. Because a sponsorship is confirmed only once WVFP accepts it in writing and payment is received, start your inquiry early in December. Ask your tax advisor about timing for your situation.

An inquiry starts the conversation but doesn't reserve anything. Your sponsorship is confirmed once WVFP accepts it in writing and payment is received. Payment is due in full at acceptance, before production or activation, by WVFP invoice, check, or another approved method. Returning sponsors get a 14-day first opportunity to renew.

Before any production, activation, or committed expense, sponsorships are refundable less any nonrecoverable costs. After that, cancellations are reviewed case by case. If a placement becomes delayed or unavailable — because of field access, facility rules, weather, or maintenance — we'll agree in writing on a reasonable substitute, extension, or prorated adjustment.

As a youth girls softball league, WVFP approves every sponsor, logo, link, and message. We don't accept sponsorship creative promoting alcohol, tobacco or nicotine, cannabis, gambling, adult content, or other age-inappropriate products. Sponsorship never includes access to player data, family contact information, or direct marketing to participants.
